Care standards for schizophrenia patients in the UK is declining.
Dan Lowe, 36, who first noticed psychotic symptoms 16 years ago, finds the hospital environment worsens his paranoia: “…they just put you in front of the telly and calm you down”.
Prof Sir Robin Murray, from King’s College London, said: “If you have psychosis and your mind is disturbed, you need a period of respite and calm.”
